The Grade 8 English learning area develops learners’ listening, speaking, reading, grammar, and writing skills through interactive and digital-based activities. Learners engage in comprehension, creative writing, oral reports, and performance of poems and stories. The course integrates modern themes like fashion, sports, and consumer protection to encourage communication, critical thinking, and appreciation of language use in real-life contexts.
By the end of the learning period, the learner should be able to:
